Annex Pretty Things Pale Ale (5.8% abv)4 pack 473 ml cans

There’s a process to writing our beers here, and it doesn’t involve lab coats and pilot systems.   We roll the dice, hope for something beautiful, and repeat what we have learned until it’s perfect.   The beer we are re-releasing today, Pretty Things, was the precursor to Forward Progress.

Brewed with a touch of Red Shed Amber malt, we heavily hopped this with Citra and Simcoe.  The differences between the two beers are subtle. When it comes to beer the devil is in the details.
Pretty Things comes in at 5.8% and has a touch more toffee flavour and roast in the malt profile, and drinks much more like a San Diego style APA.  The Simcoe gives it a little bit more pine, but for the most part the aromas trend closer to the citrus than the stonefruit.   No growler fills on this.  We put it all in cans.
