Four Dogs Brewing Co. Friday’s German (Pointer) Pilsner (4.7% abv) 4 pack 473 ml cans

A German style pils. Very approachable lager style beer with a subdued hop profile. Soft, clear, crisp and zesty.
Friday was a German Short Haired Pointer. A gentle soul and super friendly and cuddly. She inspired me to keep going on no matter what. She lived to the ripe old age of 17. With the last few years of that without the use of her back legs. But that didn’t stop her spunk or drive and she outran most dogs in the park with her wheel chair firmly attached.

Jasper Brewing Co. Crisp Pils (4.8% abv) 6 pack 355 ml cans

We are happy to share this true pilsner-style lager with you. Showcasing local malt from the foothills of the Canadian Rockies, it isn’t surprising that this beer is approachable, polite and apologetically hoppy. Sorry.

The Establishment – Where Is My Mind? Italian Pilsner Colab. with Dageraad Brewing (4.5% abv) 4 Pack 473 ml

Oh my golly, we recently got to work with a fellow Brewery of the Year winner to cook up something perfect for the warming weather. In addition to taking home Canadian Brewing Awards top honours in 2018, British Columbia’s own Dageraad Brewing continues to collect copious hardware, especially in the Belgian beer categories.

Together we decided to dabble in something we’ve both been digging deeply lately: European lagers. So, say saluti to this Italian PIlsner. This style is about subtlety, so we steered clear of the heavy-handed, juicy North American hops and took a page from the European classics instead.

We used Tettnang and Saaz in the dry hop and Tettnang and Saphir in the boil to get the characteristically crisp, fleetingly floral aroma we wanted. It’s madly refreshing, insanely quaffable, and just bitter enough to balance the sweetness of the season. Simply put, it’s amore. Try this trick and spin it.
