Acquavite Barrique Giusti

Intense, elegant, suave and complex, BARRIQUE GIUSTI grappa ages in small oak casks for the necessary time to enrich its bouquet with the distinctive, sweet aromas of the wood. That is the secret that lies behind BARRIQUE GIUSTI grappa and its distinctive, unmistakeable bouquet.

Admiral Rodney HMS Princessa Rum (40% abv)

Named after one of the ships commanded by Admiral Rodney which broke the lines at the Battle of the Saints in the West Indies. This decisive victory allowed Britain to control the Caribbean Sea.

The rum is a blend of St. Lucian rum which range from five to nine years old, having been aged in former Bourbon barrels. The result is a densely flavoured rum, full of dried fruit, vanilla, oak, woodspice, cream, honey and milk chocolate notes.

This is a really well balanced bottling with the different styles of rum working to compliment each other.

A welcome addition to Admiral Rodney’s range, this is a delightful sipping rum.

Admiral Rodney HMS Royal Oak Saint Lucia Rum (40% abv)

A wonderful St Lucian rum from Admiral Rodney, joining their mini-series of ‘Battle of the Saints’ bottlings. Like the HMS Princessa release, this rum celebrates one of the ships that Admiral Rodney commanded to victory against the French Navy in that conflict. Royal Oak is also a suitable name for a barrel aged spirit!

Made entirely out of Coffey still distilled rum, the spirits contained in this blend are aged between seven and 12 years, giving this rum an extraordinary depth and complexity.

Drinkers should expect bold notes of old oak, toffee, molasses, coffee, chocolate, vanilla, dried fruit, woodspice, dried pineapple and mango, and treacle tart.

A fantastic example of the extra old rum style, this is a luxurious sipping rum.

Admiral Rodney Officer’s Releases N ° 1 (45% abv)

Distilled in St. Lucia by Saint Lucia Distillers (SLD) in 2006 and rested for 13 years in ex-Bourbon barrels before being “finished” for nine months in ex-Port wine cask barrels. This rum has been distilled using traditional column stills and is presented at 45% in “the iconic statutory carafe of the brand.”

According to Brand Ambassador, Dave Marsland, “this limited-edition series pays tribute to Admiral Georges Rodney, a highly-recognised British naval officer who distinguished himself in 1782 during one of the most memorable naval battles in the Caribbean theatre, “The Battle of the Saintes”. Since this particular day, the name of the Admiral Rodney is closely related to Saint Lucia’s history. The island dedicated him its emblematic bay in the north.”

Admiral Rodney Saint Lucia Rum HMS Formidable (40% abv)

Exclusively at Craft Cellars

This is the oldest bottling in the ‘Battle of the Saints’, with all the rums used in the blend between nine and 12 years old. All the spirit was distilled in Coffey stills, and aged in former Bourbon barrels.

The result is a luscious and decadent rum, which delivers waves of bright toasted oak, vanilla, chocolate, tropical fruit, dried fruit, molasses, mahogany, pot-pourri and mango.
