This gorgeous Extra Añejo is aged for 40 months or more in French oak barrels before bottling at 40% ABV . A r ich, golden amber color with aromas of honeyed spice cake, toasted meringue, peppers, and dried fruits. On the palate, a silky mouthfeel, dry-yet-fruity at the outset, medium-to-full body, and a long and warming cola, peppery, vanilla toffee, and mineral accented finish. This Extra-Añejo tequila is aged in oak barrels for an average of 3 years. The final blend includes Tequila from reserves aged over 30 years. Only the estate’s finest 10-year-old agaves are hand-selected. Only the most flavourful inner portion of the agave’s piña (heart) is used. Vibrant, with a full, mellow flavour combines floral, agave, vanilla and Cognac-like flavours.

Siembra Azul Tequila Elisa Extra Anejo

Named in honor of his daughter, David Suro introduced this stunning Single Barrel Extra Añejo to celebrate the unique nature of each barrel according to its place in the aging room at the Vivanco’s distillery. Elisa has matured in proprietary American oak barrels for over 5 years. It is bottled straight from the barrel. The alcohol content, as well as the tasting profiles vary from bottle to bottle, with notes of honey, spice, and fruit as a constant.
