This pinnacle of the Single Pot Still range, Midleton Barry Crockett Legacy, marked the first time since John Jameson that an Irish Distillers product had been named after a Master Distiller. Single Pot Still whiskey is unique to Ireland in general and to the Midleton Distillery, Co. Cork, in particular, and is regarded as the quintessential style of Irish whiskey. Made from a mash of malted and unmalted barley and then triple distilled in traditional copper pot stills, Pot Still whiskeys are characterised by full, complex flavours and a wonderful, creamy mouthfeel.
The 2016 vintage of Midleton Very Rare effortlessly combines smoothness with some really nice, old pot still complexity. Definitelty one of our favourite Midleton releases.
A delicious blended Irish whiskey that has been aged in ex-bourbon barrels, giving it smooth notes of vanilla, honey and toasted oak. Made at one of Ireland’s oldest distilleries, this whiskey has a traditional Irish character.
“Born and bred in the Dublin suburb of Crumlin, Dublin 12. Proper Twelve is who I am,” McGregor stated. “I wanted to make an Irish whiskey emblematic of Irish culture as a whole, and something that would showcase the great skill we possess of distilling the best Whiskey in the entire world.”
A 15 year old Irish single pot still whisky, comprised only of pot still whisky which has been triple distilled. Its taste and aroma is characterized by a mix of rich, succulent berries, juicy fruits, subtle spices and oak.
A simply fantastic single pot still Irish whiskey that has been incredibly well received since it’s release. This is drawn from similar casks types to the 12 and 15 year old bottlings but also from some refill casks. This 21 year old is one of our favourite Irish whiskeys of all time. It is packed with rich, spiced fruit flavours along with some surprisingly fresh barley and tropical fruit flavours.
This award-winning whiskey has won best in class annually at the World Whiskies Awards since its release, and is one of only a handful of Single Grain bottlings in the world.
It is fully matured in Californian red wine barrels resulting in an intensely fruity and beautifully amber liquid, with lush berry notes.
Hand selected casks, bottled at 46% with no chill filtration to ensure all the unique flavour is captured.
