Dunville’s 12 Year Old – PX Cask Single Malt Irish Whiskey (46% abv)

From Dunville comes this twelve year-old Irish whiskey. Matured in Pedro-Ximinez sherry casks and bottled at the Echlinville Distillery, it’s lightly spiced and tantalisingly sweet, with custard, green apple and bubble-gum subtly present in the profile.

Hinch Irish Whiskey 10 Year Old Sherry Cask Finish (43% abv)

Appearance – light Brown with subtle red hue.
Nose – Fresh Fruit with earthy garden-fresh aroma.
Taste – Subtle layers of stewed Fruit and unmistakable nutty aftertaste – outstanding complexity

Hinch Peated Single Malt Irish Whiskey (43% abv)

Nose – Sweet tar and a smoky, woodish nose with immediate strong peat flavors on the palate.
Taste – Immediate strong peat flavors with lingering and nuanced fruit undertones which survive the peat storm. A hint of licorice comes through on the palate as the peat gently mellows awaiting your next sip.

Jack Ryan Beggars Bush 12 year Old (46% abv)

Ryan’s Beggars Bush pub in Dublin has been in business for over 100 years. The family had previously bottled their own whiskey, but the distillery they relied upon for spirit closed way back in 1946.

Happily, they have returned to the business, producing this cracking 12 year old Irish single malt, which has been matured entirely in former Bourbon American oak barrels.

Drinkers can expect lots of lovely grassy malt from this whiskey, with stand-out flavours of toffee, vanilla, clear honey, and tropical fruit.

Bottled at 46% ABV and without any chill filtration, this is a lush and approachable Irish dram, full of character.

Kilbeggan Black Single Malt Irish Whiskey (40% abv)

A welcome addition to the Kilbeggan range, Ireland’s oldest continuous distillery! Kilbeggan Black is matured in ex-bourbon casks and traditionally double-distilled for a rich yet distinct character, lightly peated for more depth, with a subtle yet delicate smoky finish. Offers a comforting blend of subtle sweetness with a hint of spiciness on the nose, marrying mellow notes on the palate with this distinct note of peat smoke.

Pearse Lyons Founder’s Choice 12 Year Old Whiskey (43% abv)

Pearse Founder’s Choice is a 12-year-old Single Malt aged in ex-Bourbon barrels from our sister distillery, Town Branch Distillery in Lexington Kentucky.

On the nose this Irish Whiskey ripens with orchard fruits of white peach, apple and a tingle of spiced pear that come together to produce herbal and pine notes. Hints of lemon, dried orange and a touch of honeysuckle can be experienced from this Irish Whiskey. Pearse Founder’s Choice has a medium to long finish, is deliciously silky smooth and leaves you with warm notes of ginger and clove.

Penderyn Icon of Wales No. 7 “Rhiannon” Sherry Wood Finish (46% abv)

We are delighted to announce the 7th in our Icons of Wales Series. ‘Rhiannon’ is a Sherrywood Grand Cru finished whisky at 46% abv. This is a new whisky for Penderyn and we’re very excited about it.

 

Written in the Welsh language in the 11th century, The Mabinogi are the earliest prose work in the history of Britain. The interrelated tales deal in mythology, history, political themes, romances and magical fantasies. The stories feature strong women characters, and none are stronger than Rhiannon – an enchantress and a horse goddess who could ‘out-run any pursuer even whilst riding slowly’.

Teeling Whiskey Single Malt (46% abv)

Tyrconnell 10 Year Old Single Malt Port Finish

Tyrconnell 10 Year Old Single Malt Sherry Finish

A noticeably darker colour for this special sherry-finished Tyrconnell single malt from the Cooley distillery. Bottled at the ideal strength of 46%, this picked up a well-deserved gong at the World Whisky Awards 2010. Picked up the top prize in its category at the World Whisky Awards 2010.

Tyrconnell 16 Year Old Oloroso & Moscatel Cask Finish (46% abv)

Double-distilled Irish whiskey from the Kilbeggan Distilling Co., Tyrconnell was first produced to celebrate the victory of a racehorse of the same name at the 1876 National Produce Stakes horse race. This expression has been aged for 16 years in American white oak ex-bourbon barrels before a victory lap in Oloroso sherry casks and Moscatel wine casks from Andalucia. Bottled at 46% abv, this expression is a limited edition.

The nose has honeysuckle and champagne with peach, apple and figs. The palate is nutty with rich dark chocolate and sweet honeycomb notes, before a long and dry finish brings lime, grapefruit and warming spiced oak.
