A distillery like no other, traditional production methods are used to craft a curiously modern Single Malt. Proudly named anCnoc, meaning simply ‘the hill’ in Gaelic, every drop of this remarkable Scotch Whisky celebrates its Highland home, rich heritage and the spirit of Modern Tradition.

anCnoc 24 Years Old has been bottled in its most natural form – neither chill-filtered nor coloured, and as a result may develop a light haze with the addition of water or if kept at a cold temperature.  This haze is a natural characteristic of whisky that is non chill-filtered.

Glenfarclas 105 J & G Grant (60.0% abv)

The youthful grape comes in clean, juicy bunches; the herbs and spices on a rack on the kitchen wall; Taste: Any lovers of the old Jennings books will here do a Mr Wilkins explosive snort as the magnificent barley-grape mix is propelled with the force of dynamite into the taste buds; survivors of this experience still able to speak may mention something about cocoa notes forming; Finish: Long, luxurious, with a pulsing vanilla-grape mix and a build up of spices; light oils intensify and elongate; Balance: I doubt if any restorative on the planet works quite as well as this one does. Or if any sherry cask whisky is so clean and full of the joys of Jerez. A classic malt which has upped a gear or two and has become exactly what it is: a whisky of pure brilliance … Score – 95.5. “An incredible dram from Glenfarclas, we can’t say enough about it. It’s a juicy, Christmas cake of a whisky, absolutely huge! This 15 year old matured in sherry wood, a superb malt which earned 95 points from Jim Murray. A lot of the whisky in this is clearly much older than 15 years, this is a really sherried dram and we love it”. Masters of Malt
