Aberfeldy 21 Year Old Madeira Casks Finish

A 21-year-old Central Highland single malt Scotch whisky made using traditional techniques. It is sealed with gold immersion wax seal technology, and each bottle is numbered by hand. The quantity is extremely rare.

Aberfeldy distillery was built in 1896 by John Dewar & Sons to provide whisky for their famous blends. Although the capacity of the distillery was doubled in 1973, it was still rarely seen as a single malt, appearing only occasionally in limited releases like this while part of what is now the Diageo stable. It was only in 1999 that it was marketed under its own single malt brand, when a 12 year old was released by new distillery owners, Bacardi.

anCnoc Cutter Limited Edition Whisky (46% abv)

The Cutter is a hand tool used to cut peat from less wet, shallower bogs.  This means the peat it reveals is drier and therefore more easily burnt producing a whisky that has a medium-heavy smokiness, in this case, with a phenol content of 20.5 ppm.

AnCnoc Peatheart Scotch Whisky (46% abv)

Smoke laced with leather and sweet stewed apples. Chocolate is there too, perfectly complemented by sweet vanilla and zesty lemon. The finish has a lingering warmth with a floral smokiness.
