Deutz Brut Classic

The most “classical” of the Deutz cuvees is far from mundane. The three different champagne grapes are blended in equal and unchanging proportions, ensuring it shows perfect harmony. Its golden color scintillates in the glass, with a fine stream of bubbles rising gracefully to the surface. The first impressions on the nose are mellow and reminiscent of acacia flowers, confectionery, Reinette apples and brioche. The wine then gains in volume and its silky texture reveals a successful balance between the freshness of Chardonnay, t he fruitiness and structure of Pinot Noir and a touch of vinosity from the Pinot Meunier.

Deutz Brut Rose 2012 Vintage

This has a many-hued color with strong pink tinges and fine bubbles. The nose is fresh and direct, with aromas reminiscent of cherries, blackberries, pomegranates and red currants. On the palate, the wine shows a deliciously full body that follows on perfectly from the nose. Its flavors remind one of fresh strawberries and raspberries. The finish has a pleasantly acidulous character that adds to the impression of finesse given by this romantic and well-balanced wine.

Deutz’s 2012 Vintage Brut Millesime

Deutz’s 2012 Vintage Brut (LA116D25717) has a white / copper-golden color and opens with a terribly clear, fresh, concentrated and aromatic bouquet of ripe white fruits, nuts and a classic chalkiness in the background. The palate is tight, pure, dry, fresh, straight and structured but elegant, with a long, mineral finish. Very stimulating yet tight, this is a really great 2012 and still terribly fresh! Tasted in June 2018. Wine Advocate-Parker: 90 PTS

Dom Perignon Chef De Cave Legacy Edition Vintage 2008

#5 Wine Spectator Top 100 of 2018

The Dom Perignon Vintage 2008 celebrates the legacy from Richard Geoffroy, Dom Pérignon Chef de Cave, to his successor, Vincent Chaperon. Each box tells the story of the Dom Perignon legacy from the perspective of our two world class winemakers: Richard Geoffroy on his tenure over the last two decades at the House of Dom Perignon, and Vincent Chaperon and the future vision he is bringing to Dom Perignon.

The 2008 vintage is historic for Dom Pérignon. It is a tale of a vision shared by Richard Geoffroy and Vincent Chaperon, a complete dialogue between two men and nature.

On the Nose:

The opening bouquet is complex and luminous, a mingling of white flowers, citrus and stone fruit. The overall effect is enhanced by the freshness of aniseed and crushed mint. The final aromas are starting to show spicy, woody and roasted notes.

On the Palate:

After a long period of reluctance, this wine is finally opening up. There is complete balance between the nose and the palate. Its slender, minimalist, pure, toned, athletic character now also expresses itself with warmth. The fruit is pronounced and clear. The vintage’s characteristic acidity is incredibly well-integrated in this wine. Its persistence is mainly aromatic, grey, smoky and highly promising.

Gremillet Cuvee Prestige Champagne Gold Edition

Sweetness varies from very dry to medium-sweet. Their rich fruitiness is typically balanced with a crisp acidity. Ideal for toasts, socialising and buffets, or to accompany shellfish, fish and vegetable dishes.

Gremillet Rose Brut

Highly acclaimed, highly quaffable Champagne.

This champagne shows fine mousse in the glass (meaning delicate bubbles as opposed to airy Angel Delight!) and attractive pinky colour, and it’s good fruity stuff with ripe strawberry and vanilla rolling over your tongue. That’s enhanced by classic baked biscuit flavours and crisp yeastiness

Gremillet Selection Brut

An enlivening aperitif style with a lively mousse and floral aromas, while the palate immediately springs into life with a penetrating line of fresh, floral fruit jostling with citrus and chalky notes; fine-boned, harmonious.
