Col Fondo Asolo Prosecco DOCG

This Asolo Prosecco DOCG “Col Fondo” comes from the desire to rediscover the old tradition of father Emilio in producing Prosecco. From the selection of the grapes in our oldest vineyard and from the maceration on peel for 18 hours, a base wine with a strong personality and minerality is born. Then follows the refermentation in the bottle according to the classic method, but without disgorgement. The presence of the yeast in the bottom of the bottle is an indication of genuineness and wholesomeness. The “Col Fondo” is pure expression of the territory at the tasting level: a mix of flowers, yellow fruit and bread crust on the nose with a deep mineral sensation in the mouth. It is advisable to slowly invert the bottle 2-3 times before uncorking.
It should be served at a temperature of 8-10 °.

Gigglewater Prosecco

Inspired by the 1920’s American term for an alcoholic beverage, Gigglewater offers a prosecco DOC.

“Playful and colloquial, this fragrant new Prosecco is perfumed with acacia flowers, crunchy Bartlett pears, apricot, honey and a generous spritz of tangerine. The palate is moussy; it is fine-boned and juicy and doles out crisp orchard fruits and citrus flavours. It’s a completely agreeable fizz, a nice addition to the lineup of the world’s most quaffed sparkling category. The tempting packaging alone is an open invitation to get your giggle on.”

Giusti Prosecco Rosalia DOC

WineScores’ Review

Pretty, floral, delicate.
A pretty new wine with an equally pretty name.
Expect crisp tree fruit aromas, acacia and some soft patisserie aromas. It is moussy and very lively with delicate fruit, citrus and crisp fruit. There is a kiss of sweetness to pop the palate and a classic tart Prosecco (Glera grape variety) finish.

La Gioiosa Prosecco DOC Treviso Brut

La Gioiosa is one of Italy’s leading producers of Prosecco, and takes its name from an ancient local motto ‘Marca gioiosa et amorosa’, meaning ‘Joyous and amorous March’, The March of Treviso being an antiquated name for the province in which this wine is made. Pale straw yellow with a fine and persistent mousse. Aromas are lightly floral and fruity, hinting at blossom intermingling with ripe apple. Off-dry and refreshing. Chill well and enjoy on its own or with steamed fish and shellfish dishes.
