Acquavite Barrique Giusti

Intense, elegant, suave and complex, BARRIQUE GIUSTI grappa ages in small oak casks for the necessary time to enrich its bouquet with the distinctive, sweet aromas of the wood. In fact it is here in the casks that its flavour is also enhanced by the magical encounter between the distillate of pure white and red pomaces and the wood. That is the secret that lies behind BARRIQUE GIUSTI grappa and its distinctive, unmistakeable bouquet.

Acquavite Giovane Giusti

Young and crystalline clear Grappa with a big personality, GIOVANE GIUSTI is a pure, fresh but distinctive spirit. This white grappa is obtained with a blend of pomaces coming from red and white grapes known to be outstanding for distillation. It lies for more than two months in large used oak Tonneaux before being bottled, thus giving the product its typical mellowness.

Agave Old Fashioned-Cocktail Concierge (30.5% abv)

The first reference to a drink named Old Fashioned was in Jerry Thomas’ cocktail book of 1862, it contained Holland Gin, Sugar & Bitters. Today, bartenders often switch the base spirit to create unique variations. Ours is a complex blend with a tropical soul. With our Agave Old Fashioned we spent a long time studying the tasting notes of many Mezcals and Tequilas and set out to create a drink that reached deep inside the heart of Mexico and brought forward that feeling of discovery that is usually reserved only for the avid agave spirits aficionado. Harnessing the craftmanship that shows so brightly in Bridgeland’s slow fermentation Eau De Vigne we gently moulded those flavours towards Mexico and the Caribbean with the addition of Smokey Mezcal, very carefully infused with a hint of clove. The clove cleverly takes over where the mezcal finishes on the palate and guides the flavours seamlessly towards the nuttiness of Oloroso sherry and the sweet pine & honey notes found both in agave nectar but also the Caribbean pineapple liquor used to gently sweeten the cocktail. In the tradition of the old-fashioned cocktail, we have carefully bittered the drink using both our own Antique 1833 bitters as well as our favourite orange bitters from Gary Regan. Once the cocktail is complete the drink spends an extended time on charred American Oak to bring out further vanilla, nuts and Stoney fruits in what is already and deeply complex and rewarding cocktail.

Balcones 2 Year Old Single Malt Batch 1 (That Boutique-y Malt Company) (51.1% abv)

“Very exciting times – this right here is the very first batch of Balcones single malt bottled from That Boutique-y Malt Company. The fabulous malt spirit was distilled by Balcones in Texas and then Brimstone-cask-matured for two years. The label is truly something to behold, depicting your every day metal concert, courtesy of The Brimstone Cowboys in the fiery depths of Hades. The Hell ‘n’ Back Tour looks pretty good, if a bit scary – that large demon sitting on a throne of skulls is rather unsettling, y’know…”  Master of Malt
