A limited-edition blended grain whisky from creative blender and bottler Compass Box, Experimental is made with a combination of bourbon barrels and recharred casks, including an all-malt peated grain whisky from Loch Lomond that was distilled in a copper Coffey still. Aromas of ripe bananas, toffee, barbecued meats, vanilla, pear and raspberry fill the nose, complemented by notes of almond oil, vanilla, toffee apple, aromatic peat, lichen and oak spice throughout the palate.
