LIMIT ONE BOTTLE PER CUSTOMER
This single malt whisky was distilled at the Dailuaine distillery before being placed in first fill Sherry casks and left to mature for 12 years. It was bottled at 46% abv as part of the Laudale Range. The Dailuaine distillery is known for producing whisky that is meaty and malty with cereals and plenty of fruity components.
The palate offers notes of treacle sponge, Seville orange and créme Anglaise, with hints of chocolate-covered biscuits, hazelnuts and dark chocolate lingering in the finish.
Dailuaine derives from the Scottish Gaelic ‘An dail uaine’ meaning ‘green valley’. This distilleries whiskies are rarely seen and sought after when they are available with only the best casks makeing it out to be independently bottled. These whiskies are both rare and sought-after special casks are so rare that, on average, Adelphi accepts a mere 4% that it is offered.
