Tailgunner Brewing Co. Bobby Sox – Strawberry Lime Sour 4 x 473 ml (5% abv)
$13.99
During the 1940s, silk and nylon were rationed, which meant women couldn’t buy stockings. Improvising with what little they had, the Bobby Sock was born. Swing dancing also became very popular at this time; people would gather at local community centres, schools, and beerhalls to enjoy live music and dance the night away. It was here that new dances and fashion trends would explode into mainstream culture.
Folded down over the ankle and worn with saddle shoes, Bobby Socks were a big part of this movement and an important fashion statement for all those who were part of this community.
