The third release of WhistlePig’s limited-edition Farmstock Rye Crop, matured in Vermont white oak casks, is made up of 52% WhistlePig three-year-old rye whiskey, 31% six-year-old whiskey and 17% 10-year-old whisky from Alberta, Canada. Sweet, aromatic aromas of vanilla, maraschino cherries, roast chestnuts and cigars fill the nose. The palate offers note of oak, toffee, baking spices and Crème Brulee, with delicate hints of rose petals and lively rye spice.
