Edradour Natural CS Ibisco Bourbon (58.9% abv)
$179.99
Edradour has not only been very popular with single malt fans since it was taken over by Andrew Symington in 2002.
Some of the unadulterated whiskeys from the distillery in the Highlands east of Pitlochry are still made using original equipment from the 19th century.
“Scotland’s little gem” provided numerous proofs of its indisputably high quality – for example in the form of the popular Edradour in the Ibisco decanter.
The shapely bottle contains everything that makes the hearts of connoisseurs beat faster: premium whisky, invitingly rich colouring, full-bodied aroma.
After 10 years of aging in seven casks, the single malt Scotch develops its completely natural colour.
It also owes its enticing flavor profile to casks 223, 224, 225, 227, 228, 229 & 230, which are prefilled with bourbon whisky.
Nose: Light, elegant aromas of vanilla beans, butterscotch and spicy oak – floral aromas over all
Palate: full-bodied and robust with intense sweet and fruity notes – again the vanilla, paired with tones of fresh herbs and spicy oak
Finish: medium-length finish with a very subtle sweetness – the vanilla is present again, as are the herbs and the floral notes
