Our Whiskymaker, Dhavall Gandhi has designed this limited edition collection to showcase our use of American, Spanish, and French oak with our distinctive sherry-led maturation style to demonstrate the wide flavour spectrum can offer. Find out more about the full collection.

His meticulous selection of the finest casks available and masterful liquid combinations create and accentuate the flavours within this unique collection. Each release will be a different representation of what can be achieved using the multi-oak maturation style.

HOPE

Sunrise at the summit of Scafell Pike; a new dawn, a panorama of possibility, of the farflung corners of this Sceptred Isle. An awakening of hope, the catalyst for ambition.

HOPE is an intense single malt whisky matured exclusively in first-fill Spanish oak Oloroso and PX hogsheads. As with all single malt whisky from The Lakes Distillery, we add no colourants so the natural colours derived from our oak casks can be showcased in every bottle.

The result is an incredibly fragrant whisky with distinctive spiciness and stone-fruit character. Bottled at 59% ABV.

The entire collection (limited to only 1,000 collections worldwide) is bottled at 55% ABV or above and non-chill filtered to offer a richer mouthfeel and full depth of flavour.

Introduced in 2018, the first in the Quatrefoil Collection from The Lakes was titled Faith. It was followed by this one, Hope, in 2019 and Luck in 2021.
