Founded in 1886 by Dr William Thomas Angove, Angove Family Winemakers is a fifth-generation family company dedicated to crafting premium wines from across South Australia’s best regions. With its beginnings in the foothills of Adelaide, Angove Family Winemakers has grown to become one of the largest family owned and operated wine businesses in Australia. With major interests in vineyards across South Australia the links to the land are as strong as ever and the desire to protect and improve this finite natural resource is driving much of our development.  Throughout the last 130+ years of growing and making wine Angove have been defined by our commitment to timeless principles that sum up what we believe the Angove name stands for;

Living in such a pristine natural environment surrounded by wine, winemakers and vineyards it wasn’t long before the love of the grape and wine caught Mark and he left a promising career in Business and Rural Lending to join Angove Family Winemakers in 2000 as an Export Administrator. His attention to detail and excellent communication skills saw Mark promoted in 2006 (at the height of Australia’s exporting boom) to Export Administration Manager. Mark took on significant responsibility overseeing the logistics and stock control in all of Angove’s export markets.
In 2014 Mark was promoted to Export Manager in charge of The Americas and still overseas the Export Administration team.
