The Winery
Merryvale Vineyards is a family-owned and operated St. Helena winery with decades of Napa Valley history under its belt. As the first winery built in the valley following the Repeal of Prohibition, Merryvale sits in a prime location along Highway 29, within walking distance from downtown St.Helena. Secluded from the town’s activity, the winery’s gardens evoke an era of early Napa Valley winemaking history. Its barrel rooms and vineyards bear the imprint of industry icons who have worked there.

Merryvale’s proprietors, the Schlatter family, are traditionalists with vision, committed to preserving the winery’s rich past without compromising their innovative plans for the future. Alongside their winemaker Simon Faury, their focus is in Bordeaux varietals, the wines for which Napa is most renowned. Merryvale Vineyards is Napa Green Land and Napa Green Winery certified employing thoughtful farming practices and superior standards in the winery to ensure that the wines live up to their full potential.
