With great anticipation we are so pleased to introduce Reynolds wine with winemaker Carlos Reynolds!
Carlos will be Introducing his family linage through the wine. Every bottle has a story and a reason as to why they were named after their family members.
Their vineyard is set amid the S. Mamede hills, in a place of immense beauty – five hundred acres of meadows streaked with green, gold and intense brown. The scenery is filled with sky and hills, oak and cork trees dotted like sheep across the landscape. The one hundred acres of vines are planted on the hilltop, which provides adequate natural drainage and excellent sunlight. Building their winery on an old barn used in the past as a cattle shed. The reconstruction and transformation of the house were made with the utmost respect for the original structure, providing the perfect temperature, humidity, and conditions for their winemaking.
We will be lucky enough to taste Alicante Bouschet a grape variety that was introduced to Portugal by the Reynolds family of a century and a half ago! Due to the high quality of the grapes, Reynolds wines are nearly free of sulphites, with high fruit concentration and the strictest hygienic standards, so that the wine lasts for decades!
We are providing a charcuterie with delicious bites to showcase these amazing wines. You do not want to miss this event!
