A stunning single malt from Bunnahabhain, distilled in 1988 and matured for a generous 35 years in a single refill butt. A total of 234 bottles joined the Xtra Old Particular range from indie bottler Douglas Laing in 2023.
This impressive single malt spent 35 years in a refill sherry butt before being bottled by Douglas Laing to celebrate the Year of the Dragon. Expect aromas of pear drops, creme de peche and Manuka honey on the nose, followed by notes of lemon meringue pie, salted caramel and nutmeg on the palate.
