This 8 year old single malt was distilled in 2015, aged in a 1st Fill Bourbon Barrel then finished for 6-12 months in a 1st Fill Oloroso Hogshead before being bottled at cask strength, 55.6% abv. There was a total outturn of 249 bottles.
Nose: Dried apricots, Green apple, dry hay, cherries, strawberry vanilla ice cream, layers of spices
Palate: Caramel apple, cantaloupe, milk chocolate, tobacco leaf, citrus, biscuits, touch of salinity
Finish: Candied ginger, figs, molasses, medley of spices, raspberry jam
