Glenallachie Single Cask 2011 Ruby Port Pipe #7444 (58.3% abv)

This is a release in the Single Cask for Europe – Batch 5 series. It was distilled 2011-02-15, matured in a single ex-ruby port pipe (cask #7448), and bottled August 2022. This expression was aged in a large port pipe to create a truly special whisky. If you’re looking for a limited edition scotch with a  wonderful mix of fruit, spice, and chocolate flavours then this release is for you!

Nose – notes of cinnamon spice, honeycomb and hazelnuts, with candied strawberries, ginger snaps and toasted almonds

Taste – lashings of heather honey, dried wild berries and cinnamon apple dusted crumble, followed by orange zest and dark chocolate
