Sandhill Cabernet Franc Icewine

Our winemaking techniques are designed to enhance, not interfere with, the naturally occurring fruit flavors in our wines. Two words you will hear frequently from Sydney to describe her winemaking technique are “gentle” and “non-interventionist”. Great fruit, helped along only when necessary using a soft touch, will result in great single vineyard wine from BC.

This rare Cabernet Franc Icewine has a bright cherry red colour and enticing aromas of wild strawberry, red currant jelly, rhubarb and watermelon. This perfectly sweet Icewine is balanced by bracing acidity. Luscious flavours of red cherry, cranberry and raspberry fill the mouth, followed by notes of strawberry, rhubarb, pomegranate and sweet spice lingering exquisitely on the finish.
