Cascahuin Extra Anejo Tequila (43% abv)
$189.99
First rested 4 years in large, wooden tanks at the distillery. These tanks are more than 60 years old. 48 months rested in American oak barrels. This extra añejo introduces aromas of cooked ripe agave, notes of honey, ripe pineapple, and touches of menthol and darjeeling tea. Concluding with freshly ground coffee, bitter chocolates, berries and orange peel. The flavor is sweet with a slight astringency from the barrel. Provoking memories of cooked agave and the once robust blanco tequila. This drink is a perfect balance of barrel and tequila and an enchanting reminder of this 16 year long process (from field to barrel).
