Fermented separately on skins for two weeks and aged in French oak for 28 months.
Merlot (80%), Cabernet Franc (12%), Cabernet Sauvignon (5%), Petit Verdot (1.5%), Malbec (1.5%).
Expect inviting notes of red licorice, plum and vanilla.
Tasting
On the palate, this medium-bodied wine is well structured presenting silky tannins with flavours of cedar and cocoa powder followed by a long finish.
Pairing
An ideal match for osso buco, dry smoked ribs or Peace Country lamb sirloin served at a backyard barbecue with friends and family.
