Crafted with Bunnahabhain Mòine, the distillery’s peated spirit, this single malt is a sequel to the original Toiteach and uses a higher proportion of sherry casks in the final blend than its predecessor. Pronounced ‘Toch-ach ah-gha’, its name translates to ‘Smoky Two’ in Gaelic. The nose is peaty with rich oak and hints of sherry. The palate opens with a warming peat and sweet Oloroso sherry notes, with delicate pepper emerging for balance. The finish is spicy with some sherry aspects and lingering peat.
