Champagne Henriot NV Blanc De Blancs

This is a non-vintage Blanc de Blancs that is a blend of Chardonnay from Henriot’s own vineyards, drawn from around 12 different Crus. About 50-70% of the blend is “wines of the year” and 30-50% consists of reserve wines. It spends at least three years aging before release. Dosage is under 7 g/L.

Tasting Notes & Serving Suggestions:
The wine shows aromas of lemon zest, green apple, white flowers, brioche, and pastry with subtle hints of wet chalk. On the palate it is crisp, fresh, and elegant, featuring flavors of lemon and citrus peel, quince jelly, and acacia honey. The mousse is fine, creamy, and smooth, with minerality and a long, balanced finish.
Serve well chilled at 9-12 °C (48-54 °F) in flute or tulip-shaped sparkling wine glasses. Excellent with fresh oysters, seafood, lobster, or light shellfish, and fragrant white meats. This Champagne is ready to enjoy now, or it can age gracefully to develop more toasted and biscuit notes.
