Tenuta Del Paraju Meridionale Tre Tenute
$42.99
Tenuta del Pajaru is in Manduria, a few kilometres from the sea, in an area that straddles the territory known as Magna Graecia as far as the Salento Peninsula. The scenario is one of boundless expanses of ochre red earth, which conjures up a feeling of warmth at first sight, and age-old olive groves. Only vines native to the centre-south of Puglia and the Salento Peninsula are grown here: Nero di Troia, Primitivo and Negroamaro. The wines produced are warm and caressing.
The Famiglia De Cerchio’s estates come together to bring forth Meridionale Tre Tenute. A blend of Montepulciano, Primitivo and Nerello Mascalese, the iconic varieties of Abruzzo, Puglia and Sicily, three regions of southern Italy blessed with sun and beauty. With a deep red color and thick tears on the glass, it captures with hints of black currant, chocolate and cocoa, which we find in the mouth enriched with a peppery finish. Excellent with aged cheeses, game and red meats.
