Delas Haute Pierre Chateau Neuf Du Pape
Original price was: $69.99.$55.99Current price is: $55.99.
To the eye, the color is dark garnet. On the nose, the “Haute Pierre” vintage is marked by intense aromas of spices developing a powerful and opulent material with fine and tight tannins. Fat and concentrated, the mouth ends with intense liquorice aromas.
Vineyard:
It extends over almost the entire commune of Châteauneuf-du-Pape and over certain areas of the same nature in the four neighboring communes (Bédarrides, Courthézon, Orange and Sorgues).
Soils:
more or less deep, very stony, they are essentially made up of large rolled quartz mixed with sandy red clay.
Climate :
This is the driest area of the Côtes du Rhône; the dominant wind is the mistral, there is around 2,800 hours of sunshine per year, and the heat stored by the stones during the day is released at night, causing an “oven” effect.
