Gaja Ca’Marcanda Estate Magari Igt
$124.99
Magari” is a Bolgheri Rosso born from Angelo Gaja’s desire to embark on a new adventure in Tuscany after achieving great international success with wines from the Langhe region. Once the Bolgheri estate was identified, the purchase involved negotiations so prolonged that it was named Ca’ Marcanda, a tribute to the continuous bargaining process (“marcanda” means bargaining). The estate is located near the Bolgherese road in one of the most suitable areas, covering about a hundred hectares planted with Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Syrah – all international varieties well-suited to the microclimate of the region. The area is characterized by extraordinary brightness and the presence of mild breezes from the Tyrrhenian Sea. In just a few years, Angelo Gaja’s Tuscan wines have captured the attention of connoisseurs, establishing themselves as some of the finest expressions of the coastal Tuscan territory, marked by elegance and expressive refinement.
