Miltonduff is one of Speyside’s quietly essential distilleries, known for producing a gentle, floral, and fruit-forward malt used widely in blends like Ballantine’s. As a single malt, & especially at elevated strength, it reveals a surprisingly dynamic personality.

Nose:
Fresh orchard fruit — pear, green apple, and white peach — mingles with soft vanilla, honeyed malt, and gentle floral notes. Hints of lemon zest, sweet herbs, and light oak spice add lift and brightness.

Palate:
Vibrant and textural at 100 proof. Flavours of sweet barley, citrus, and soft toffee lead into warmer notes of ginger, baking spice, and creamy vanilla. The increased strength adds grip and structure while preserving Miltonduff’s naturally smooth, aromatic profile.

Finish:
Clean, warm, and moderately long with lingering vanilla, malt sweetness, and a touch of fruit and spice.
