Aberfeldy Distillery was founded in 1896 by John Dewar & Sons in the Highlands of Scotland and has long been known for producing a rich, honeyed style of whisky that forms the heart of Dewar’s blended Scotch. As a single malt, Aberfeldy is prized for its approachable texture and gentle fruit-forward character, qualities that become especially luxurious with extended maturation. The 45 Year Old sits among the oldest and rarest official releases from the distillery, showcasing decades of patient aging and careful cask management. Tasting Notes
Nose: Polished oak and heather honey lead, followed by dried apricot, tropical fruit, vanilla cream, and soft antique leather.

Palate: Exceptionally smooth and layered, with notes of caramelized orchard fruit, toffee, orange marmalade, and gentle spice balanced by waxy texture and refined oak tannin.

Finish: Long and elegant, with lingering honey, sandalwood, soft cinnamon, and a delicately drying oak fade.
