Adelphi Speyside Linkwood 10 Year Old Single Malt

Adelphi's Speyside Linkwood 10 Year Old is a 2026 independent bottling from Adelphi, released as Batch 2 of its regional whisky collection. Founded in 1821 near Elgin, Linkwood is known for producing elegant, floral single malts with fresh apple, pear and subtle grassy notes. Much of its whisky traditionally goes into premium Scotch blends, making independent bottlings an appealing way to explore the distillery's character.

The whisky was fully matured for 10 years in refill sherry casks, rather than receiving a short sherry finish.

Tasting Notes
Colour: Golden honey.
Nose: Fresh apple blossom, ripe pear and orange peel, with honeyed malt, raisins and toasted almonds.
Palate: Soft and rounded, with cooked orchard fruit, creamy toffee and sweet malt, followed by gentle sherry spice, roasted nuts and a touch of cocoa.
Finish: Medium-length and elegant, with lingering honey, dried fruit, citrus zest and softly drying oak.
