The finish is long, smooth and refined with lingering oak, soft spice and subtle sweetness that echoes dried fruit and vanilla. This whisky is best enjoyed neat in a tulip or Glencairn glass so you can appreciate its complexity and depth. If you wish to mellow the strength slightly and reveal more nuance, a few drops of water may help open the layers.
