The second release in Barrell Craft Spirits’ Decade series brings together Canadian-distilled whiskeys from every year between 1995 and 2005. Aged 20 to 30 years, then crafted and bottled in Kentucky, this blend combines exceptional maturity with a formidable 141.3 proof (70.65% ABV).

Secondary maturation in Spanish brandy and Hungarian oak casks adds depth to a rich, oak-driven profile. Syrupy fruit, dried figs, toffee, and spiced chocolate meet cinnamon and seasoned oak, creating a full-bodied whiskey with concentrated flavour and pronounced warmth.

A distinctive release for collectors and enthusiasts of mature, high-proof whiskey, Decade 2 showcases Barrell’s approach to blending across vintages and cask styles.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Raisins and dried figs layered with vanilla, caramel, spiced chocolate, cinnamon, and toasted oak.

Palate: Powerful and full-bodied, with syrupy fruit, brandy richness, toffee, and caramel. Baking spices, dark chocolate, and firm oak tannins build alongside intense barrel-strength warmth.

Finish: Long and warming, with lingering dried fruit, cinnamon, toffee, chocolate, and Hungarian oak spice.
