Bedford Park SoV Wheated Rye

Founded in North Vancouver in 2015, Sons of Vancouver has quickly become one of Canada's most acclaimed craft whisky producers. Rather than pursuing traditional styles, the distillery has built its reputation around bold rye whiskies, creative cask experimentation, and small batch releases that often sell out immediately. Their whiskies are typically bottled at natural cask strength and blended to evoke specific memories or experiences, earning a devoted following among collectors and helping secure the title of Canadian Whisky of the Year at the Canadian Whisky Awards.
While Sons of Vancouver's flagship Wheated Rye is matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and new American oak casks using a 75% rye and 25% wheat mash bill, Bedford Park has not published the complete production details for this collaboration.

Tasting Notes
Nose: Vanilla bean, crème brûlée, caramel, toasted oak, floral rye spice, baking spices, and hints of orchard fruit.

Palate: Full-bodied and powerful with rich caramel, brown sugar, peppery rye, cinnamon, toasted oak, sweet wheat, and layers of vanilla cream balanced by vibrant spice.

Finish: Long and warming with lingering oak spice, honey, toasted grain, nutmeg, cinnamon, and a touch of vanilla sweetness.
