Cask Number: #108 ABV: 57.9% Cask Type: Finished in first fill Pedro Xemenez Hogshead Bottles :321 Colour: Dark Mahogany Nose: Mellow toasted coffee, dried dates, and dark chocolate notes; nutty. Gentle Pedro Xemenez influence. Palate: Heavy charring of the cask is immediately obvious. Sweet notes of dried fruit as raisins, fogs and dates, accompanied with aromas of honey, grape syrup and candied fruit, but all in nice balance, not overpowering. Spicy chilli flakes mix with sweet Manuka honey. Finish: Long lasting as you would expect from Ben Nevis. Warming burnt toffee, cocoa and soft oak.
