The whisky spent its entire 10-year maturation in first-fill American bourbon barrel #725, with no secondary finishing period. First-fill bourbon wood typically contributes vanilla, honey, tropical fruit and creamy sweetness. In this expression, those characteristics complement Benromach's distinctive lightly smoky spirit, creating a balance between bright citrus, pineapple, milk chocolate and gentle peat.
