Blasted Church Merlot VQA

A bouquet of ripe plum, blueberry and blackberry lead the nose, with red berry and chocolate filling out the profile. On the attack, rich, ripe plum, chocolate, and dark berries lead the way, supported by a well textured mouthfeel. Through the mid-palate, the fine tannin builds and persists through to the balanced finish. The ripe character of this wine would make it an ideal pairing for grilled steaks, roasted mushrooms and rich tomato-based pastas.
