Produced by WhistlePig Farm Distillery in Shoreham, Vermont, The Boss Hog XII: The One That Made It Around the World – Feather & Flame is the twelfth edition in the highly coveted Boss Hog series. Each annual Boss Hog release is designed to showcase innovation without compromise, featuring single barrel rye whiskey finished in unique casks and bottled at full proof. For this release, WhistlePig partnered with experts in India to create custom-seasoned Thandai barrels inspired by the traditional Indian festival drink made with spices, nuts, and botanicals. The whiskey was finished in these one-of-a-kind casks, resulting in an expression that combines WhistlePig's mature rye character with remarkable layers of spice, floral complexity, and exotic sweetness.

Tasting Notes
Nose: Aromas of cardamom, toasted almond, dried apricot, sandalwood, rye spice, honey, orange peel, rose petals, and warm baking spices rise from the glass with remarkable intensity.

Palate: Rich and full-bodied with layers of caramelized nuts, tropical fruit, cinnamon, clove, ginger, vanilla cream, toasted oak, black pepper, and classic rye spice balanced by exotic floral and herbal undertones.
