Bruichladdich Distillery, founded in 1881 on Islay’s west coast, is renowned for its progressive approach to Scotch whisky, emphasizing transparency, terroir, and traditional craftsmanship. The Octomore series, launched in 2008, is designed to explore the extremes of peat while maintaining balance and complexity.

Tasting Notes:
Nose: Powerful peat smoke balanced by salted caramel, honeyed melon, and apricot, with layers of vanilla, coconut, and a soft mineral edge.

Palate: Thick, smoky and full-bodied with sweet malt, golden honey, and ripe stone fruits, followed by chocolate, toasted oak, and a touch of saline brightness.

Finish: Long and lingering with earthy peat, cocoa, gentle spice, and a refined maritime freshness.
