Bunnahabhain 12 Year Old Cask Strength 2026 Release

Produced by Bunnahabhain, the 2026 Cask Strength Edition continues the distillery's annual series, first introduced in 2021 to showcase its signature whisky in a more concentrated, undiluted form.

Matured for 12 years in an equal combination of first-fill Oloroso sherry casks and bourbon casks, this expression brings together two distinct flavour profiles:
- First-fill Oloroso sherry casks: Contribute rich dried fruit, raisins, figs, dark sugar and warming spice.
- Bourbon casks: Introduce creamy vanilla, toasted coconut, honeyed sweetness and a softer oak character.

Tasting Notes
Colour: Natural deep gold.
Nose: Raisins, dried figs and dates mingle with honeyed vanilla, cinnamon and clove, complemented by a subtle coastal freshness.
Palate: Rich stewed fruits and warming spice develop into creamy vanilla and toasted coconut, with a gentle maritime salinity.
Finish: Long and evolving, with lingering dried fruit, soft spice, dark sugar and polished oak.
