Chateau De Laubade Bas Armagnac 1985 Cask Strength

The Laubade Vintage Armagnacs are produced with grape varieties Baco, Ugni Blanc, Folle Blanche and Colombard. The wine grapes go through a continuous distillation process and are distilled separately in accordance with the cellar master specifications. These eaux de vie are then slowly aged in locally coopered Gascony oak. The best quality eaux de vie from specific vintage barrels are combined into the finest blend at full cask strength and bottled right from the barrel. Luscious dark amber colour attesting to the evident rancio aromas, dried figs and woody aromas. A complex and rich palate, dried figs, dates, plums and nuts enveloped by vanilla oak. More dark fruits, rancio and vanilla linger on the finish.
