Dalmore Vintage 2009

The Dalmore Vintage 2009 is crafted at The Dalmore Distillery, situated on the shores of the Cromarty Firth in the Scottish Highlands. Founded in 1839, The Dalmore has earned a global reputation for producing luxurious single malts distinguished by their exceptional cask management. Under the guidance of Master Whisky Maker Gregg Glass, following the legacy established by Richard Paterson, the distillery carefully matures its spirit in American white oak ex-bourbon barrels before introducing a selection of rare sherry casks sourced from González Byass in Jerez, Spain. Distilled in 2009, this vintage expression reflects the unique character of that year's spirit, combining vibrant fruit with the rich chocolate, coffee, and spice notes that have become synonymous with The Dalmore. Bottled at 48.9% ABV with natural colour, it offers a refined balance of maturity, complexity, and elegance.

Tasting Notes
Nose: Aromas of Seville orange, dark chocolate, raisin, roasted coffee, vanilla, cinnamon, polished oak, and red berries are complemented by hints of toasted almonds and baking spices.

Palate: Rich and velvety with layers of dark chocolate, toffee, orange marmalade, black cherries, dried figs, espresso, roasted hazelnuts, warming spice, and silky malt balanced by elegant oak.

Finish: Long and refined with lingering notes of cocoa, sweet citrus, dried fruit, cinnamon, espresso, and gentle oak spice.
