Edradour 12 Year Old Cask Strength

Edradour, one of Scotland’s smallest traditional distilleries, is renowned for its hands-on production methods and distinctly old-fashioned spirit character. Their 12 Year Old Cask Strength bottlings are drawn straight from a selection of sherry-rich casks; often first-fill or heavily seasoned, and bottled at natural strength without chill filtration.

Nose:
Dense aromas of dark dried fruits like figs, raisins, and dates; layered with rich toffee, brown sugar, and damp oak. Hints of cocoa, leather, cinnamon, and a touch of orange peel add complexity.

Palate:
Thick, luxurious, and boldly sherried. Expect flavours of chocolate fudge, stewed berries, and sticky toffee pudding alongside warm spice, roasted nuts, and oak richness. The cask strength brings intensity and depth, enhancing the spirit’s natural weight and sweetness.

Finish:
Long, warming, and velvety with lingering dark fruit, cocoa, sweet spice, and polished oak.
