Gen5 Pinot Noir 2021

This Pinot is sourced from vineyards tied to Lange Twins Winery: 49 % from Dutra Vineyards, 42 % from Maria Solano, and the rest from supporting vineyards. The vines average 15 years in age. The wine is aged about 6 months in oak. The blend is primarily Pinot Noir (86 %) with small percentages of Syrah, Viognier, Tannat, and other red varietals, adding complexity and texture.

Gen5 Pinot Noir offers aromas of plums, raspberries, black cherries, with layers of mocha, cola, clove, and vanilla. On the palate it is medium-bodied, with soft tannins, balanced structure, and integrated sweet oak. The finish highlights lingering red fruit and gentle spice.
