Glenfiddich 25 Year Old Rare Oak

Glenfiddich 25 Year Old Rare Oak is a mature Speyside single malt from the family-owned Glenfiddich Distillery in Dufftown. Founded by William Grant in 1887, Glenfiddich remains owned by William Grant & Sons and has played an unusually important role in popularizing single malt Scotch internationally.
The Rare Oak bottling is now a discontinued older Glenfiddich release, rather than part of the distillery's current core collection. Bottles continue to appear on the secondary market, making it increasingly interesting for collectors looking for older Glenfiddich expressions that are no longer readily available through conventional retail.

Tasting Notes
Nose: Green apple and blackberry meet buttery caramel, polished oak and the deeper sweetness of well-aged rum. Vanilla and mature wood gradually emerge as it opens.

Palate: Raisins and sultanas bring concentrated fruit, joined by orange liqueur, warming mulled-wine spice and gingerbread. Vanilla sweetness rounds the palate while cinnamon, nutmeg and clove provide increasingly mature spice.

Finish: Long and warming with oily pine, nutmeg and fresh citrus, gradually becoming drier as mature oak and spice linger
