Gray Monk Pinot Noir

Gray Monk Estate Winery, established in 1972, is one of British Columbia’s pioneering wineries and a key figure in the development of the Okanagan Valley wine industry. Located on the eastern shores of Okanagan Lake, the estate benefits from moderating lake influences and a favourable climate for cool-climate varieties.
Pinot Noir is sourced from vineyards across the Okanagan, where warm days and cool nights allow for gradual ripening while preserving acidity. The winemaking approach focuses on maintaining varietal character through gentle extraction during fermentation, typically in stainless steel. The wine is then aged with a measured use of oak to add subtle texture and spice without overpowering the fruit.

Colour: Light ruby with garnet tones
Nose: Aromas of cherry, raspberry, and strawberry, with hints of spice, vanilla, and light earth
Palate: Light- to medium-bodied with soft tannins and balanced acidity; flavours of red berries, plum, and subtle oak spice
