Hamilton 151 Proof Demerara Rum is part of Ed Hamilton’s Ministry of Rum Collection, a line known for transparency, classic rum styles, and bartender-friendly bottlings. The rum is a blend of aged pot and continuous still rums distilled at Diamond Distillery in Guyana, home to Demerara Distillers Limited, then imported and bottled at 151 proof, or 75.5% ABV. It was created to deliver the rich, dark profile needed in tiki and tropical cocktails, with concentrated notes of stone fruit, treacle, smoky oak, burnt cane, and brown spice.
