Laphroaig’s Elements series showcases the distillery’s willingness to innovate while preserving its unmistakable medicinal, maritime peat character. Elements 3.0 focuses on advancing texture and complexity through a creative cask regime, blending traditional ex-bourbon influences with select secondary cask types chosen to enhance richness and deepen the earthy smoke.

Nose:
A rush of coastal peat smoke, brine, and charred driftwood, balanced by notes of vanilla bean, toasted coconut, and subtle dried herbs. Hints of warm tar and citrus oils broaden the aromatic profile.

Palate:
Explosive and oily with classic Laphroaig medicinal peat, seaweed, and smoked oak. Mid-palate brings richer tones of caramel, grilled pineapple, and clove, supported by a dense, warming mouthfeel. The experimental cask influence introduces gentle sweetness and refined spice.

Finish:
Long, smoky, and satisfying with lingering phenolic intensity, cracked pepper, saline minerality, and a final touch of sweet citrus.
